Host the Perfect Baby Shower
It’s officially your turn to host a baby shower! Excitement is in the air and now it’s time to start the planning process. We’ve got you covered with tips and tricks to host an entertaining and smooth event.
First, get with Mom-to-be to choose an ideal date for the shower. Sit down with her to talk through the guest list and remind her to make a registry. Additionally, encourage her to invite those closest to her and pick a date that’s at minimum a month out. This gives your guests plenty of time to receive their invitation. Then, talk through what Mom’s vision is for her shower. She may provide direction or tell you to have a blast getting creative.
Speaking of invites, it’s time to choose the baby shower theme! This can be a simple as a color palette or as elaborate as a movie theme. If running wild with the shower theme is fun for you, get as detailed as you’d like. If not, put the emphasis on something else like games or food.
