Blending wedding traditions of the bride and groom is what makes your wedding day uniquely yours. “Something borrowed, something blue,” “it’s bad luck to see the bride before the ceremony,” – these are the things we are used to, but Buzzfeed’s fascinating video of wedding traditions from around the globe¬†has definitely thrown us for a loop.
For starters, did you know that in China some brides pre-plan crying? In fact, according to the video, they are expected to cry for about an hour each day for the entire month leading up to their wedding. And in some Danish weddings, the bride and groom gets swarmed with kisses from the bridal party if either one leaves their side. We really appreciated the sing¬†off idea between the bride’s and groom’s guests which is common in many South Asian cultures. Could you imagine guests at any Destin, Florida wedding partaking?
