Planning a wedding in Destin, or anywhere, can be very stressful, but the Destin Bay House has thought of a few things you can do to relieve some of that stress.

The first thing you can do is pamper yourself. You deserve a day at the spa with your girlfriends or your mother. Get a facial, pedicure or a massage to let loose and forget about the wedding planning for a little bit. Pampering yourself could also mean going on a shopping spree or taking a trip down to the beach. All of these options will take your mind off of what tasks need to be done and allow you to focus on yourself, even if it’s just for a little while.

A great option that can help you and your fiancé relax is to have a date night. Dress up and go out somewhere nice where you can enjoy each other’s company and keep the stressful wedding talk to a minimum. Brides often forget to do this during wedding preparation, but it’s important to include your groom in the planning and while also staying connected to him.

The third choice is to get active! Exercise eliminates stress and forces you to go outside and enjoy fresh air. Taking a yoga class or going for a run are great ways to send endorphins through your body and relieve a few of your worries.
