Things to Start Saving For…December 11, 2015
Congratulations on your recent engagement! We have no doubt that you have already started to plan your perfect destination wedding, but before you get too far, you may want to make some other plans. Plans for future purchases, that is. There are a few expenses that come with getting married that are traditionally paid for by the bride and groom themselves.
For starters, wedding bands. The price for these everlasting symbols of love vary from a few hundred dollars up to around $1,000. Another thing to add to your list is a honeymoon. Between airfare, accommodations and extra activities, this once-in-a-lifetime trip can cost a pretty penny (or two). Premarital counseling, marriage licenses, thank you gifts, bride and groom gifts, thank you notes, new ID’s – the list of things just keeps growing.
It is important to take all of these things into account as you plan your 30A beach wedding, because you want a happily-every-after as much as an “I do.”
